Windsor is steeped in centuries of history, The area has witnessed Magna Carta, as well as the births, marriages and deaths of many of the Kings and Queens of England, who have resided in the world- famous Windsor Castle since the 11th century.
Today Windsor proudly retains many of its traditions within an environment that is very much in the 21st Century; with many “millenials” choosing to move to what is very much an English country town influenced by London.
Windsor has miles of natural green spaces, its Great Park covers 5,000 acres that are open to the public all year round. The River Thames is a live with activity as it flows through the town.
Windsor Great Park hosts many annual events, including carriage driving, half marathons, fun-runs and cycling, as-well-as the river offering boating, rowing and river cruising.
Polo is played at Guards Polo Club in Windsor Great Park, and Horse Racing can be experienced at the world -famous Ascot Racecourse. There are many other sports events within reach of Windsor, including Henley Regatta.
